Suzanne Ruhl (Nissley) Brubaker

Suzanne R. (Nissley) Brubaker, 72, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born Saturday, October 22, 1949 to the late Reuben and Edith (Ruhl) Nissley. She is survived by her loving husband, James Steven Brubaker who she married on June 19, 1971.

Suzanne graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1967. She went on to work for many employers as a secretary and also a certified nursing assistant.  She was an active member of the Community Bible Church, Palmyra. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters, Donna Hosler and husband Marlin “Dick”, and Debra Martin and husband Michael, and step brother Randy Hess. She is predeceased by a step brother, Allan Hess.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 AM at the Community Bible Church, 1849 S. Forge Rd., Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will be private at Risser Mennonite Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
