Steven L. White

Steven L. White, 62, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Born Sunday, January 5, 1958, in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Dorothy Nell (Sellers) White. He was married to Lawanna R. (Amsbaugh) White on August 17, 2002 and have been together a total of 35 years.

Steven was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and the beach.  Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Steven L. White, of Middletown, Scott R. White, married to Amanda, of Elizabethtown, Shana R. Moist, married to Michael, of Marietta and Shawn R. White, married to Andrea, of Elizabethtown.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Dante, Cailynn, Joel, and Rylee; sister, Teresa Bandy of Florida; close family members Angela Sharp and Chantel Colon and families; the family dog Leo, as well as Steven’s extended family and caring friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Dennis and Michael, his sister, Mary Nell, grandson Dallas Moist, and close family member, Khristen Sundy.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, Lancaster or Hospice & Community Care, Lancaster.
