Stephen L. Hackett

Stephen L. Hackett, 64, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at the Hershey Medical Center on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born November 6, 1960 to the late Salvator J. and Geraldine (Jackowski) Barbone. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kim J. (McKee) Hackett.

Stephen had a deep love for music and could often be found playing his bass guitar or relaxing with a favorite song. He found peace in fishing and joy in every moment spent with his loved ones. Family meant everything to him, and the love he shared with his wife was the heart of his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephen Hackett and David Hackett and companion Paige; grandchildren, Phoenix and Julian Hackett; siblings, David Hackett and wife Tina, Christine Candello and companion Chad, and Michael Barbone and companion Jessica; sisters-in-law, Christie, Melva, Jacquelynn, and Vicki; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs Teddy and Abby. He is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Hackett.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
