Stephanie (Resch) Berger, 61, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the MS Hershey Medical Center. She was born Wednesday, August 29, 1951 in Buffalo, NY to David J. Resch and the late Virginia (Madden) Resch. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Harry M. Berger.
She graduated from West Minster College in New Wilmington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and was a member of Life Center Ministries. She was devoted to her family, Jesus, and longed to see Revival. She spent 17 years serving with prison ministry, led worship and established many home groups, longed to see healing and was a woman of deep faith and prayer. She enjoyed gardening, music and was forever giving of herself. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by many.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebekah R. Senior and husband Matthew of St. James, NY; three sons, Benjamin D., Jonathan D., and Joshua J. Berger of Palmyra; a granddaughter, Hosanna J. Senior; a sister, Dr. Miriam Resch of Elkhart, IN.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 22 nd at 11 AM at Life Center Ministries, 411 South 40 th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111 with Pastor John Leach officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
