Stacy Kathleen Heiserman

Stacy Kathleen Heiserman, 45, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia following a courageous battle with breast cancer.  Born November 27, 1970 in Columbia, she was the daughter of Robert W. Heiserman, Jr. and Joyce D. (Hall) Heiserman.

Stacy was raised in Marietta and graduated from Donegal High School, Mount Joy, Lock Haven University, Lock Haven, PA and Bradley Academy of Visual Arts, York, PA  where she obtained a degree in Interior Design.  She was most recently employed as a kitchen and bath designer for Choice Windows, Doors and More in New Holland, PA.  She received numerous awards, citations and accolades for her design work.  While always an avid athlete, she played on the 1992 NCAA Division II National Champion Field Hockey Team while a student at Lock Haven.  Stacy was an avid Penn State Football fan and loved the members of her Penn State family.

Her memory will live forever with her parents, Bob and Joyce, of Wrightsville; her brother, Kurt R. Heiserman and wife, Tamara Dobbie, of Oxford; and most especially her rescue dog, Mr. Deeks.  Stacy will be lovingly missed by her extended family and caring friends.  All who knew her loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547, 717-426-3614.  Burial will follow in the Marietta Cemetery.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to view at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-9:00 PM and also from 9 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
