Shirley A. (Folk) Miller

Shirley A. (Folk) Miller, 94, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was born on Wednesday, August 25, 1926, in Reading, PA to the late James and Annie (Haines) Folk. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Miller since 1996.
In Shirley’s spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and knitting. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Shirley was a faithful member of the Eastern Star Reading Chapter #251 and also the Ladies Auxiliary of Rajah Shrine Clowns. Most importantly she was a loving sister and friend.
She is survived by her siblings: Dotty Baum and Donald Folk and wife Margie; 2 step grandchildren; 1 step great granddaughter; and 1 step great-great grandson. She is predeceased by a brother, Allen Folk, brother-in law, Gerald Baum, sister-in-law, Gloria Folk, and 1 step daughter.
A graveside and Eastern Star service will be held on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 at 11:30AM at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Springs, with Brother Douglas Didyoung, Sr., SALM officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
