Shirley B. (Knarr) Groff

Shirley B. Groff, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Mennonite Home. Born Thursday, June 14, 1934 in Danville, PA, she was the daughter of the late David and Florence (Walter) Knarr. She was married to John E. Groff who passed away in April 2014.
She was a 1952 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. A gourmet cook, Shirley loved to be surrounded by beautiful things and was a dog lover. She and her husband enjoyed life and traveled the world. Shirley retired from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives where she worked as a legislative aid.
Surviving are cousins and a companion, Jack Lesher, of Lancaster.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Interment will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs, PA at 11:00 AM.
