Sharon A. (Smith) Miller

Sharon A. (Smith) Miller, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away on June 15, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy.  She was born April 21, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to the late Coronel Smith and Mary A. (Pardoe) Carolus.  She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Miller.

Sharon attended from Chief Logan High School in Lewistown.  She retired from Armstrong and was a Ladies Auxiliary member of the Middletown American Legion Post 594 and the Elizabethtown VFW Post 5667.  Sharon enjoyed horseracing and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Long, Jr. and wife Jennifer; a grandson, Jerred Long; 3 siblings, Roger Smith and wife Martha, Donna Aumiller and husband Ken, and Tony Smith and wife Vicky; and 2 k-9 companions, Fluff and Chrissy.  She was predeceased by her faithful k-9 companion, Spooky.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 1 PM until time of the service.
