Scott H. Smith

Scott H. Smith, 58, of Hershey, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center.  Born Sunday, August 25, 1963, in Hershey, he was the son of Evelena (Geyer) Smith and the late H. Herb Smith.  He was married to Lori A. (Shank) Smith on September 17, 1988.

Scott worked for over 20 years for the Hershey Company.

Mr. Smith was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also coached Little League Baseball for over 35 years.  Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife of over 33 years, he is survived by a daughter, Alyssa A. Smith, of Chambersburg.  Also surviving are his mother, Evelena, of Hershey; a brother, Steve Smith, married to Dawn, of Lewisberry; an “adopted daughter”, Amanda Duvall, of Chambersburg, as well as Scott’s extended family and caring friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078, 717-838-9211.  Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
