Scott Andrew Schneider

After a 4-year battle with leukemia, Scott Andrew Schneider, 54, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Born in Townson, MD, he was the son of Catherine M. (Campbell) Schneider and the late Melvin D. Schneider. He was the loving husband of Michelle Lee (Carl) Schneider.

Scott grew up in the Elizabethtown community. He graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 1989 and Penn State University in 1993. He was Director of Video Services for the Senate of PA. He coached baseball with the Elizabethtown Boys Club for 7 years. As an avid fan of roller coasters, Scott was a US correspondent for the European Coaster Club. Scott was the biggest cheerleader of his children and enjoyed watching cross-country meets, tennis matches, soccer games, orchestra concerts, and baton competitions. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and love for 80’s music.

In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by three children, Ethan Carl and wife Alina, Evan Charles, and Emma Corinne Schneider. He had three brothers, Craig, Robbie, and Marc Schneider.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 904 Mill St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Family and friends are invited for the visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service. A private burial will be held in St. Peter Historic Cemetery.
