Sarah "Sally" Catherine (Fleegal) Wagner

Sarah “Sally” Catherine (Fleegal) Wagner, 70, of Palmyra , passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon .  She was born Tuesday, December 28, 1943 in Huntingdon to the late Clinton “Barney” J. and Sarah C. (Long) Fleegal.  She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dale L. Wagner.

She graduated from Hershey High School and in 1967, along with her husband, purchased the Rising Sun Restaurant in Campbelltown which they still own and operate.  She was a member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church .  She enjoyed road trips, spending time at the beach, and anything that involved spending time in fellowship with family and friends.  Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by many. “A little lady with a big heart”

She is survived by two sons, Jim L. Wagner and wife Michelle of Palmrya, and Darryl L. Wagner and wife Bethann of Palmyra; a granddaughter, Jennifer M. Wagner of Palmyra; a sister, Gwyn Fleegal of Zelienople.  She was predeceased by a brother, James H. Fleegal.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10 ^th at 11:00 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street , Palmyra , PA 17078 with Steve Alger officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9:00 AM until time of the service.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
