Sara "Sally" J. Witmer

Sara “Sally” J. Witmer, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was born on October 7, 1940 to the late Clayton K. and Alma N. (Heisey) Young. She was predeceased by her loving husband, of 62 years, Raymond S. Witmer.
Sally had a love for cats and was an excellent cook. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, and coloring. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Scott Witmer and wife Lee Ann, and Robin Staci Long and husband Daniel; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Rodney Stewart, and siblings, Betty Gochnauer and Faye Bedore.
Burial at Risser Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
