Sandra J. (Jones) Muhleisen

Sandra L. (Jones) Muhleisen, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024. She was born April 20, 1943, in Chester, PA to the late Clyde and Thelma (Burroughs) Jones. She was predeceased on November 4, 2022 by her loving husband, Kenneth B. Muhleisen.

Sandy graduated high school and then started her working career in retail and later as a stay-at-home Mom. On March 1st 1974, she married the love of her life, Ken B. Muhleisen. On August 18, 1963 Sandy welcomed her first son, Brian; on September 29 1977, Sandy welcomed her second son, Ken and on July 31, 2004 her granddaughter, Kelly (Shamrock).Sandy enjoyed watching her son, Brian and granddaughter, Kelly, play sports as well as watching and listening to son, Ken, in his many concerts and marching band.  Sandy also enjoyed “short” drives looking for deer and foxes with her husband Ken.

She is survived by a son, Ken, grand dog Peanut, daughter-in-law Cindy, granddaughter Kelly, and cousins Judy Burroughs Willing her husband Tom Willing and Connie Burroughs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and son, Brian.

Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Tuesday, May 21st from 12 to 1 PM at Masonic Village Sell Chapel, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.  A Memorial Service will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Brian Farling officiating.  Burial will be private per family request.
