Samuel H. Brewer, Jr.

Samuel Henry Brewer, Jr., 73, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, after a long battle with MS. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Samuel H. Brewer, Sr. and Dorothy (Phillips) Young. He was the loving husband of 53 years to Peggy Ann (DeJesus) Brewer.

Sam was a devoted Christian husband and father, who loved any chance to gather and share food with his family. An outdoor lover, he could often be found fishing, hunting, or metal detecting. He was kind and considerate, and always quick with a joke.

In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by three children, Sherry Brewer, Beverly Ann Julias (Dan), and Angela Brown (Chris); six grandchildren, Sabrina Maldonado, Amanda Calderon, Alyssa Payne, Ethan Julias, Laura Shultz, and Israel Fasnacht; two great-grandchildren, Addison Calderon, and Alivia Calderon; a brother, Thomas Brewer (Lynn); a sister, Tammy Frady (Bob); and father-in-law, Dulcilio DeJesus.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
