Ruth "Kathy" Kathryn (Flowers) Smith

Ruth K. “Kathy” Smith, 64, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Thursday, May 9, 1957 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Heisey) Flowers. She was together with her husband, Eric F. Smith, for 47 years. Kathy worked as a pharmacy technician for Thrift Drug, Rite-Aid and Palmyra Pharmacy. She retired from R & K Subs.  Kathy's first job was being a baby sitter. Kathy was a member of the Palmyra, Campbelltown and Annville American Legion’s; and the Campbelltown and Annville VFW’s. She was also a member of Union Hose. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved animals. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
