Ruth Mamie (Moyer) Showalter

Ruth M. (Moyer) Showalter, 93, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was born Friday, August 20, 1920 in Lebanon County to the late David and Myra Moyer. Ruth retired from Hershey Foods after many years of faithful service.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Smith and husband Rick; and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 6th at 10 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Reverend LeRoy Bomgardner officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 9 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow in North Bellegrove Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
