Ruth M. (Shaak) O'Neil

Ruth M. (Shaak) O’Neil, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown.  She was born Tuesday, July 17, 1934 to the late Allen and Verna (Boltz) Shaak.  She is survived by her husband James O’Neil.

Ruth had a passion for antiques but most importantly friends and family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Kathleen M. Phillips; 2 sons, Robert A. Longenecker and wife Danielle M., and David E. Longenecker and wife Amy; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Shaak.  She is predeceased by a sister Joanne Oddi.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until time of service.
