Ruth Catherine (Hand) Blue, 84, of Middletown, passed away at home with family by her side on May 30, 2016. She was born October 9, 1931 in Lindley, NY to James William and Ada Belle (Martin) Hand. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Lee Roy Blue.
She is survived by 3 sons, Harold Blue and wife Betty, Dennis Blue, and Thomas Blue; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Thomas, Jr., Hope, Kayla, and Renea Blue; and a great-granddaughter, Britney Blue. She was predeceased by 6 siblings.
Ruth enjoyed keeping her hands and her mind busy by reading and doing puzzles. She liked to garden and enjoyed the beautiful flowers she grew. Most importantly Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 4 PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022. Burial will follow in Good’s Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 3 PM until time of the service.
