Russell J. Kolmus, Jr.

Russell J. Kolmus, Jr., 92, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born Wednesday, January 1, 1930 to the late Russel J. Kolmus, Sr., and Cyrena R. (Thomas) Kolmus. He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Jane (Schloo) Kolmus.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Marjorie J. Kolmus, Russell J. Kolmus, III, and wife Deborah, Robert John Kolmus and wife Susan R. and Steven Ulshafer and wife Tina Marie; son-in-law, Keith Harman; six grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a daughter, Darlene Harmon Kolmus and sister Marilyn Joy (Kolmus) Greene.
A proud US Navy Veteran, Russell served during the Korean War. He was also a proud past mason serving the Philadelphia Potter Chapter #72 and was a boy scout leader and coach for many years. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 3 PM in the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village. A viewing will be held from 2 PM until the start of the service. Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10 AM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
