Roy B. Raber

Roy B. Raber, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 1,
2013 at Lancashire Hall in Lancaster. Born in Bainbridge, he was the
son of the late Calvin and Corella (Howett) Raber. He was the husband
of F. JoAnn Cioban of Lancaster. They would have been married for 60
years on Monday, November 4th.
Roy was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Lancaster. A US
Navy veteran of WWII, he was retired from International Signal
Control, Lancaster. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid
Phillies and Barnstormers fan.
In addition to his wife, JoAnn, he is survived by a daughter Barbara
A., widow of Joseph R. Kilgore, Sr. of Lancaster; a sister Susan
Trostle of Columbia; a grandson Justin Kilgore (Sara) of Lancaster and
two great grandsons, Jordan and Jaxson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at
Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street,
Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00
PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment
will take place in Bainbridge Cemetery.
