Rose Marie (Kreider) Leas, 94, of Maytown passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (Gilner) Kreider. She was the loving wife of more than 60 years to the late John R. Leas, who passed in 2006.
Rose worked at AMP Electronics. She mostly enjoyed spending time with family.
She is survived by four children, Kathleen Stephens, Richard Leas, Laurie Leas, and Michael Leas; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and close friend, Rita Welcomer. She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Kreider; sister, Wanda Scott; along with her husband and parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11AM at Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay Street, Marietta, PA 17547. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, PA. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10AM until the time of service.
