Roger Henry Ford, 74, of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 13, 2024, at the Masonic Village Hospice Care Center in Elizabethtown, PA. Born on July 10, 1950, to Gertrude Isenhour Ford and Edward Henry Ford, he was a dedicated educator and loving father.

A graduate of Shikellamy High School, Roger continued his academic journey at Lehigh University and Duke University. He dedicated his professional life to education, serving as a high school English teacher specializing in British Literature for the Carlisle School District. Although he retired early due to health issues, he remained intellectually engaged.

In 1973, Roger married Pamela Haddon at Christ United Methodist Church in Northumberland, PA. He had a passion for photography, literature, jazz music, and was proud of his spaghetti sauce recipe, which he loved sharing with family and friends.

Roger is survived by daughters, Anne Charlotte Behler (Benjamin Douglas) of Bellefonte, PA, and Emily Joy Mooney (Henry Allen) of Silver Spring, MD, and former wife, Reverend Dr. Pamela Haddon Ford. He was a doting grandfather to Lily and Owen Behler and Gemma, Jack, Henry J., and Hanna Mooney. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael E. Ford, and his parents, Edward H. and Gertrude I. Ford.

In a final act of generosity, Roger donated his body to the Humanity Gifts Registry for medical research at Penn State Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
