Rodney K. Bowman

Rodney Keith Bowman, 51, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born Wednesday, February 22, 1961 in Lebanon to Thomas F. and the late Lillian I. (Schucker) Bowman. He is survived by his loving wife Christina Marie (Hartman) Bowman.

Rodney enjoyed spectating, coaching and camaraderie through various sports activities with which his children are involved throughout many years. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, classic cars and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was fun loving, full of life, and valued fellowship. He was handy around the house, with a talent for fixing anything. He was most of all a proud father, and loved his family and best dog; Bear with every part of his being.

He is survived by two daughters, Lindsay A. Bowman and Nikki M. Bowman; a son, Corey T. Bowman; five sisters, Cindy Donahue, Linda Boger wife of Kenneth of Palmyra, Brenda Raynes wife of Larry of Rexmont, Kathy Bailey wife of Charles of Annville, and Sandy Young wife of Edward, Jr. of Red Lion. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas F. Bowman, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 2nd at 1 PMat the Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Father James F. Podlesny as celebrant, with burial following in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Thursday, November 1st from 7 to 9 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra and from Noon until time of Mass at the church on Friday.
