Rodger L Geisel

Rodger L. Geisel, 78, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024. He was born on Thursday, July 25, 1946 to the late Jacob and Grace (Gashaw) Geisel. He is predeceased by his companion of 40 years, Edward M. Myers.

Rodger graduated from the Downingtown High School and earned his BS, MS, and tri-state certification as a school psychologist from Temple University, Philadelphia. He has more than 40 years’ experience in Human Resources, having retired early from the Hershey Co., Hershey. Following retirement Rodger and Edward owned and operated an antique and nautical gift shop in Lewes, DE.

He is survived by his two siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11 AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Donte Jones officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey.
