Robert Lee Waltz

Robert Lee Waltz, 62, of Elizabethtown, passed away in his home on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born Thursday, August 14, 1952 in Lancaster to the late Samuel Dyer and Evelyn R. (Coble) Waltz. He is survived by his loving wife Doris Ann (Bice) Waltz.

Robert was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Bainbridge. He retired from PennDOT after 35 years of loyal service. He enjoyed playing checkers and cards as well as collecting things to recycle. He was huge fan of Elvis Presley. Most importantly he was a kind and gentle man with a warm heart, who loved his family deeply. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Richard L. Waltz and Larry E. Waltz and companion Margar Hartman; a sister, Evelyn Jean Germer and husband John; a step-brother, Edward Zimmerman; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 10:30 AM at Elizabethtown First Church of God, 144 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, 17022 with Pastor Emily Styer and Pastor Mark Yarger officiating. Family and fiends are invited for visitation from 9:30 AM until time of the service. Burial will take place in Elizabethtown Mennonite Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown.
