Robert Charles Snavely

Robert Charles Snavely, 64, of Annville, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Twin Oaks Nursing Home. He was born Wednesday, August 31, 1949 in Harrisburg to the late Marlin R. and Nancy (Traino) Snavely. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary A. (Wilhelm) Snavely.

Bob was a faithful member of LCBC Harrisburg. He was employed at Zeager Brothers, Inc. prior to starting his own company, Snavely Woodworks. He enjoyed being outside, hunting, gardening, and traveling. Bob was a history buff with an affinity for genealogy. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Snavely and Adam Snavely and wife Heather; 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Jacob, and Bethany Snavely; and 2 sisters, Marlene Snavely and Sandra Hinkel.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 18th at 11 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Matthew Shandera officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
