Robert S. Saul

Robert S. Saul, 77, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Della (Smith) Saul. He was the loving husband to Martha (Mooney) Saul for 44 years.
Robert was a proud Air Force veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, and was an avid fan of Penn State football. Robert loved Disney World and documentaries, and going to restaurants to try new foods. Above all, Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his three children, Tim Riedel, Emily Austin, and Mary Saul; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Cheryl Vogel.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 12PM at Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057. Interment with full military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2PM. Family and friends are invited for viewing Friday from 11AM until the time of service.
