Robert P. Propsner Sr.

Robert P. Propsner Sr., 90, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Born Friday, July 24, 1931, in Trooper, PA, he was the son of the late John K. and Mabel (Johnson) Propsner.  He was married to Dolores J. (Mallinson) Propsner for over 71 years.

Bob worked as an electrician for most of his life including working in industrial sites such as Limerick Nuclear Power Plant.  As a Mason he was a member of W. K. Bray Lodge No. 410, earned his 32° Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and was a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon.  As a hardworking dependable person Bob was always available to lend a helping hand for family and friends. With his wife he enjoyed country western dancing and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Dolores, of Elizabethtown, he is survived by four children: William J. Propsner, married to Connie, of Sellersville, PA, Robert P. Propsner Jr., married to Janice, of Perkasie, PA, Cheryl L. Costello, and her life partner, Sean Brannagan, of Parsippany, NJ, and Douglas A. Propsner, married to Joanne, of Exton, PA.  Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as Bob’s extended family and caring friends.

Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
