ROBERT L. GORDON, SR.

Robert L. Gordon, Sr., of West Donegal Township, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was born March 7, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George G. Gordon and H. June (Jameson) MacDonald.

Bob was raised in Elizabethtown by his Aunt Imogene Kelley and his late Uncle Russell Kelley, who he lovingly referred to as his parents.

He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Wickersham Construction & Engineering of Lancaster.

Bob was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown, and a life member of the Elizabethtown VFW.

He enjoyed traveling and attending flea markets as a vendor of his collectable merchandise.

Surviving are his wife Gloria J. (Stehman) Gordon, his two sons Robert L. Gordon, Jr. of Middletown, Philip C. Gordon of Seattle, WA and a brother William C. Gordon of Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. of Elizabethtown.

Visitation will be from 11am until 12pm (Noon) on Saturday in the funeral home.
