Robert (Bob) Glenn Feeman II, aged 86, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, February 9, 2026.

He was born in Palmyra, Pennsylvania on August 7, 1939, to the late Robert and Ellen Feeman, (nee Rosenberger). Bob carried his small-town values of hard work, loyalty, and kindness with him throughout his life.

He was a 1957 Palmyra High School graduate where he played baseball and football and stayed close to his high school buddies.

Bob was married to the love of his life, Faye Strohm, for 48 wonderful years. Together they built a strong, loving family that was his greatest pride.

He and his bride, moved from Pennsylvania to South Florida in 1960, where he built both a distinguished career and a beautiful life centered around family and service.

Bob proudly served his country as a Communications Specialist in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated 25 years to the City of Fort Lauderdale as a Firefighter and Driver Engineer from 1965 until his retirement in 1990. He had a long and distinguished career, earning the respect of his fellow firefighters and the community he so faithfully served. He also worked for many years at Melrose Irrigation and Supply in Fort Lauderdale, where he continued to build lasting friendships.

Upon retirement, he and Faye returned to PA and settled in his beloved home of Palmyra where he reconnected with his family, childhood church and childhood friends.

He is survived by his sister, Ellen June Lebo of Delaware; his three daughters, Peggy (Dale) Thorlton of Sebring, FL, Jill (Gary) Nobles of Raleigh, NC, and Barbara (John) Gehring of Gainesville, GA; and his cherished grandchildren, Bobby Thorlton, Ryan Thorlton (Rhianna), Daniel Nobles (Claire), Brian Nobles (Briana), Brandon Gehring, and Kate Gehring. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Braxton Nobles, Rhys Thorlton, Barrett Nobles, Sophie Nobles, and Rae Thorlton, along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

Bob loved following his grandchildren’s sports and activities, traveling all the way from Pennsylvania to Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. He also enjoyed telling them stories from his firefighting days — stories filled with bravery, humor, and the unforgettable shenanigans of firehouse life. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome. Above all else, he loved his family and friends deeply, and his legacy of strength, service, and warmth will live on in all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00, at the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 N. Chestnut Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey, PA 17033.
