Robert Charles Carroll, 83, of Palmyra, PA passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. He was born Monday, July 11, 1932 in Gloucester, MA to the late Eben and Florence “Dolly” (Breaker) Carroll. He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (Evans) Carroll.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He followed his military service with a 23 year career in the Central Intelligence Agency. Robert was a proud member of the NRA as well as various VFW’s and American Legions. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by 3 children, Colleen P. Moll and husband Gregory, Kathleen R. Brown and husband David, and Patrick K. Carroll and wife Julie; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary L. Carroll.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
