Robert "Bob" Hartzell

Robert “Bob” Hartzell, 84, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He was born January 15, 1942, to the late Theodore W. and Catherine (Conran) Hartzell.

Bob was a proud Air Force Veteran who took a special interest in the Civil War. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He caried on the family trait of keeping his yard impeccable, however he spent even more of his time tending to his prestige garden and car. Bob took pride in everything that he did, more than anything he was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Hartzell and husband Andy Qualls; granddaughter, Natasha Hartzell, siblings, Douglas Hartzell and wife Deborah and Shirley Miller; and niece Tina Mujevic and husband Sadrija “Sam”. He is predeceased by Marlin, Lois, and Dennis.

Services will be private and burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Dementia Society of America, Dementia Society of America.
