Richard A. Shuey
November 20, 1960 — January 16, 2022
Richard A. Shuey, 61, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was born Sunday, November 20, 1960 to Kenneth R. and Audrey A. (Landis) Shuey. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Teresa L. (Zechman) Shuey.
Rick was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of the Legion, enjoyed spending time at the Palmyra Sportsman Club, and was a longtime member of the Swift Run Hunting Camp. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his son, boating on the Chesapeake Bay or racing RC cars. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his son: Austin R. Shuey; brother, Timothy E. Shuey and wife Deb; 3 nieces; and beloved dog, Kody. He is predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will be held from 9AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.
