Richard C. Ray

Richard C. Ray, 79, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg, PA on Sunday, April 12, 2015.  He was born Thursday, November 7, 1935 in Lemoyne, PA to the late Carl C. Ray and Marguerite (McClintock) Bell.  He was married to Constance A. (Slonaker) Ray on December 5, 1959.

Rich was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict proudly serving with the U.S. Army.  He went on to retire from the U.S. Air National Guard after 44 years of service.  Dick also worked as a plant manager for AMP, Inc. retiring in 1998.

In addition to his wife of over 55 years, he will be lovingly missed by a son, Christopher C. Ray and wife Betsy S. Goodman, of Harrisburg; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Matthew M. Ray and a great granddaughter, Arianna “AJ” Ray.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Conoy Brethren In Christ Church, 1722 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with Pastor Al Frank officiating.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
