Richard L. Kreiser

Richard L. Kreiser, 68, of Palmyra passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, September 17, 1946 in Palmyra to the late Curtis G. and Irene E. (Cope) Kreiser. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie K. (Cassel) Kreiser.

Richard graduated from Palmyra High School in the class of 1965. He went on to work as a Supervisor at Kraft Foods for 25 years. He was a member of the Palmyra Sportsman Club. He enjoyed spending time at his vacation and hunting cabin in Potter County with his family and friends, and his hunting and fishing buddies who grew to be like family to him.  In his younger years Richard grew up working for this family’s business, the Palmyra Pheasant Farm. Since then he always had a love for farming and mowing his farm and property. Richard also cherished the time he got to spend with his many grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his daughter Lori A. Kreiser and son Steven R. Kreiser, husband of April R., all of Palmyra, six grandchildren: Gabrielle, Mario, Jaden, Jon, Darby, and Takarah. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Shearer of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl C. Kreiser.

A Memorial Service will be held on at 11AM on Friday June 5, 2015 at Community Bible Church, 1849 S. Forge Rd, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Greg Wilson officiating. Friends and family are respectfully invited for visitation from 10AM until the time of the service.
