Richard E. Kelly

Richard E. Kelly, 72, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026. He was born on May 1, 1954, to the late Donald, Sr. and Joanne (Fox) Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cindy R. (Halbleib) Kelly.

Richard enjoyed spending time reading and playing his keyboard. He was a simple, laid-back man who appreciated the little things in life and found joy in the time spent with those he loved. More than anything, Richard’s family was his world, especially his grandchildren, who held a very special place in his heart. His love for his family was at the center of his life, and the memories they shared will be treasured always. Above all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew Kelly and wife Diana, Mandi and Rebecca Kelly; grandchildren, Jordan, Payton, Karli, Ethan, Makayla, Giavonna, and Brandon; great- grandchild, Gabriel; siblings, Patty Kurtz, Candy Jacoby and husband Dave, Karen Breaithwaite and husband Jim, and Don and wife Teresa. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a grandson, Cameron.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at noon at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Don Kelly officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11 am until the start of the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
