Robert G. “Bert” Prough

Robert G. “Bert” Prough, 54, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 6, 2015 of natural causes.  He was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1960 in Harrisburg to Glenn and Dolores (Jacka) Prough.

Bert worked as the Roofing Manager for Century Spouting, Inc., Elizabethtown for over 25 years.  He enjoyed listening to music, hunting and will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman.  Above all, he will be remembered as a loving father, brother, son, uncle and friend.

He will be lovingly missed by two daughters: Rebecca A. Prough, wife of Torsten Nehr, of Elizabethtown, Erin E. Prough and companion Philip Kleinbohl, of Elizabethtown; his parents, Glenn and Dolores Prough, of Manheim; a brother, Jason H. Prough, husband of Katherine, and their children, Sophia and Gabriel, of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Dorinda F. Peterson, wife of Steven and their son, Dirk, of Elizabethtown as well as Bert’s extended family and caring friends.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 on Saturday, April 11, 2015 between 12:30 and 2:00 PM.  Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
