Randy Ray Swisher

Randy Ray Swisher, 46, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2016 of natural causes at his hunting camp in Lycoming County.  Born Saturday, December 13, 1969 in Harrisburg, he was the son of Elizabeth W. (Weaver) Swisher and the late Roger R. Swisher, Sr.

Randy was a 1988 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School.  Following graduation, he went on to work as a talented Automotive Technician.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar Racing as well as watching football.  Above all, he will be remembered as a loving son, brother and companion.

He will be lovingly missed by his mother, Elizabeth, of Elizabethtown; a sister, Vicky L. Wallace and husband, Craig, of Elizabethtown; his companion of over 4 years, Penny Jean Miller, of Elizabethtown; a nephew, Matthew; three nieces, Taylor, Kathleen and Grace; his two beloved dogs, Milo and Roxy as well as Randy’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger R. Swisher, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543 with Pastor Ervin L. Huston officiating.  Burial will follow in the Conewago Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of the service on Thursday.
