Pierrette M. “Petey” Cutlip, 85, of Maytown passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 20, 2026. Born in Saint-Jacques, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Léanne (Grondin) Bérubé. She was the loving wife for over 15 years to the late Tyrone “Tom” Cutlip, who passed in 2018.

Petey was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Marietta. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially tennis. Her favorite teams included the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Montreal Canadians. Petey loved gardening, reading, and camping. She proudly became a U.S. Citizen on June 18, 2004, and was proud to have dual citizenship with her native country of Canada. Described as spunky and full of spirit, Petey made an impact on many lives, and was remembered by everyone she met. Above all, she was a beloved mother, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two children, Phillip Stumpf (Laura) and Tara Hickey (Roger High). She was preceded in death by two siblings, Louis-Georges Bérubé and Louiselle Turcotte; along with her husband and parents.
