Peggy L. (Weaver) Drescher
February 18, 1933 — December 22, 2016
Peggy L. (Weaver) Drescher, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Saturday, February 18, 1933 in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Roland H. and Harriet A. (Shank) Weaver. She was married to Carl B. “Squink” Drescher for over 59 years until his death on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
She will be lovingly missed by her children: Keith J. Drescher, of Elizabethtown; Deborah A. Olson of Trevorton; Tina M. Drescher, of Rome, Georgia; Michael J. Drescher, and wife Michelle, of Elizabethtown and Vicki J. Dumez, wife of Mitchel, of Everett. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven S. Drescher.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Grandview Memorial Park, 500 North Weber Avenue, Annville, PA 17003. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution’s may be made in Peggy’s honor to Christ Church United Church of Christ, 247 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
