Pearl A. Good

Pearl Arlene (Brubaker) Good, 95, of Weslaco, TX, formerly of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Saturday at her daughter’s home in Texas. Born December 21, 1929 in Jackson Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman A. and Lavina (Gingrich) Brubaker. She was married 63 years to Harvey B. Good who passed away in August 2012.

Pearl served New Covenant Church with her husband, Pastor Harvey Good, for 15 years. Most recently, she attended Mid River Christian Fellowship in Texas.

Pearl loved reading her Bible. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, preparing and serving meals on holidays, winter vacations in South Texas with her daughter’s family, and especially her companionship with her dog, Vanna.

Surviving are two children, Leonard Good and wife Sandra, of Palmyra and Mary Ann Ellsworth and husband Pastor Vernon Ellsworth, of Weslaco, TX, nine grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, a brother Irvin Brubaker, and three sisters, Ruth Nolt, Thelma Martin and Lorraine Litzenberger. Pearl was predeceased by three brothers, Howard, Melvin and Leonard Brubaker, a sister Darlene Martin, and two infant brothers, Russell and Warren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at New Covenant Church, 695 East Ridge Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
