PAULINE L. DURHAM

Pauline L. Durham, 69, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born on June 17, 1945 in San Diego, CA to the late Jake & Adelle (Daubert) Helfer.

Pauline attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown. She was a member of VFW Post #5667 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post #329 Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer with the Elizabethtown Boys Club. She enjoyed camping, going to the cabin in the mountains, playing cards with family & friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

She had worked for NCR Corp. in Mt. Joy, R&J Rentals and the VFW Post #5667.

Surviving are her husband Jess W. Durham, her son Michael Rehrer and his wife Paula of Elizabethtown, with whom she resided, her daughter Lisa Hess and her husband Kurt of Watts, PA, seven grandchildren Brittany Rehrer, Michael Rehrer, Hunter Rehrer, Ashley Miller, Amber Long, Ashly Hess, Nikki Hess, two great grandchildren, and her sister Darlene Dommel of Cody, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by two brothers Jake Helfer, Ronald Helfer, two sisters Betty Lou Shank, Sallie Seidel and a grandson Ryan Rehrer.

A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown, with Pastor Tom Grubbs officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6pm until 7pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.
