Paul Raphael Diener, 87, of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born Thursday, June 25, 1925 in Cleona to the late Robert W. and Bessie M. (Kreider) Diener. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary A. (Treida) Diener in 2007.

Class in the US Navy and proudly served during WWII. He retired from Hershey Foods in 1993 after ## years of faithful service. He was a Member of Salem UCC in Campbelltown, Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge #486 F&AM in Middletown, Ancient Scottish Rite of Harrisburg, and the Campbelltown American Legion Post 831. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping along the Chesapeake Bay. He had an affinity for auto body work and repair of old cars. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by a daughter, Pauline Moses of Steelton; two sons, David Diener and wife Paula of Palmyra, and Steven Diener and wife Vickie of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren, Magan Shumaker, Amanda Diener and fiancé Rob Brown, Haley Diener, and Robert Moses and wife Kim. He was predeceased by five brothers, Mertus, Raymond, Victor, Warren, and Asher Diener; two sisters, Elva Lex and Mary Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13

at 7 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Dwight Hein officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing at the funeral home on Monday at 6 PM followed by Masonic Services. Burial with full military honors will be conducted on Tuesday, May 14

at 10 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
