PATSY M. HERMAN CHRIST

Patsy M. Herman Christ, 81, of Marietta, left her earthly family to join her heavenly family on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care of Mount Joy.

She was born on June 2, 1932 in Highspire, PA to the late Guy E. & Ella (Poorman) Farner.

She retired from Armstrong World Industries and after retirement was a hostess/cashier at Clearview Diner. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Marietta.

She enjoyed traveling across the United States & Canada and was a member of the Thousand Trails Camping Assoc. She also was an avid cross stitcher and did Swedish weaving.

She was the beloved wife of Donald E. Christ for 37 years.

She is survived by six children, Vicki (Bob Carroll), Mike (Kati Hirst), Pam (Scott Shellenberger), Brian (Annette), Mark (Nancy), Angie (Eric Lutz), a sister Kathryn Snavely, brother Guy Farner, 13 grandchildren and three great grandsons.

Patsy was preceded in death by brothers Sammy and Donnie Farner, sisters Lois Fallinger, Miriam Mumma, Barbara Jean Farner and a granddaughter, Lauren Renee Herman.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1290 River Road Marietta, PA.

The family will greet relatives and friends immediately following the memorial services.
