Patricia J. (Bretz) Payne

Patricia J. Payne, 78, of Palmrya, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Maulfair) Bretz. She was the wife of Vincent B. Payne, Jr. of Palmyra.
Patricia was retired from Nationwide Insurance where she was employed as a secretary. Previously she was employed by Milton Hershey School.
In addition to her husband, Vincent, she is survived by three daughters: Tammy (Michael) Schmidt, Palmyra; Diane (Thomas) Groff, Palmyra; Sandra (Wesley) Herr, Grantville; two sons: David (Mariellen) Payne, Lititz and Timothy Payne, Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters: Harriet Linebaugh, Palmyra and Nancy (William) Berman, Elizabethtown; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Lois Bretz.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra from 6:00-8:00 PM. There will be no viewing. Service and interment will be private.
