Patricia J. “Patty” (Hayes) Bowman, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and friends at her home in Mount Joy Township. Born Thursday, September 25, 1958, in Mount Lebanon Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Julia (Cassarini) Hayes.
Patty’s most memorable time in her life was her time spent at the former Garden Spot Bowling Center, Strasburg. Her greatest joys were bowling, serving others, making crafts of all kinds-especially for family and friends, and helping anyone in need.
Patty was employed by Playskool, Burke Industries, ITT and Turkey Hill.
She is survived by a sister, Denise Rajchel, married to Jeffery, of Pittsburgh, and was the proud Aunt of three nieces: Jennifer, Katelyn and Ashly. She is also survived by her partner of more than 18 years, Jim Peters, as well as Patty’s extended family and caring friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda, brothers, Albert and David Hayes, and her sister, Jill Hayes.
Honoring Patty’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
