ODESSA HIXON BIESECKER

Odessa Hixon Biesecker, 94, of Bainbridge on Monday, September 1, 2014 wrapped the draperies of her couch about her and laid down to pleasant dreams. To slumber in earth’s bosom with her dearly departed loved ones; John Biesecker her husband with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, brother Leslie V. Hixon, sisters Edith Huggins and Thelma Bair, nephew John Huggins.

She was retired from Wyeth Laboratories and was a member of Ludwig United Methodist Church, Bainbridge.

She is survived by two sons John L. Biesecker and his wife Nancy of Bainbridge, V. William Biesecker and his wife Eileen of Bainbridge, a daughter Christina E. Mark and her husband Dana with whom she lived, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, a brother from another mother, Charles Gearhart of Frederick, MD and her Williamsburg friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:15am on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Ludwig United Methodist Church, 149 Race St. Bainbridge, PA. Visitation will be from 10:15am until 11:15am on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the church.
