Nevin B. Wolfgang

Nevin B. Wolfgang, 62, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at his home in North Londonderry Township.  Born Wednesday, January 15, 1958, in Pottsville, he was the son of Nevin C. and Shirley A. (Whyne) Wolfgang.

Nevin worked for David G. Heisey, Inc., Elizabethtown, for 26 years and was currently employed with B&G Lumber Company, Elizabethtown. In his free time he enjoyed skiing and also antique shopping.

He is survived by two sons: Barry J. Wolfgang, of Palmyra, PA and Steven C. Wolfgang, married to Amber, of Palmyra, PA.  Also surviving are his parents, Nevin and Shirley Wolfgang of Hershey, PA; two grandchildren: Levi and Melina Wolfgang, of Palmyra, PA; a sister, Lisa C. Watford, of Harrisburg; a brother, John J. Wolfgang, married to Jennifer, of Chesterfield, VA; Nevin’s former wife, Debra A. (Scheaffer) Wolfgang, of Palmyra, as well as Nevin’s extended family and caring friends.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family.  A service to celebrate Nevin’s life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078, 717-838-9211.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nevin’s memory to The American Heart Association.
