Narcissa A. Lewis, 82, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown PA. Born Wednesday, February 17, 1943, in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Narcissa (Peterson) Frutchey. She was married 49 years to Robert W. Lewis, Sr. who passed away October 7, 2015, at the age of 71.
Narcissa was raised at Masonic Village from age 7yrs until her graduation from high school. She met and fell in love with Robert while reuniting with her natural mother in Upper Darby. They married at Arch Street United Methodist Church and raised two children as she said ‘with Betty Crocker and Dr Spock’ as her guide. Narcissa was an old school Kelly Girl getting prime assignments with companies like WMMR radio, Philadelphia Eagles under Leonard Tose who she said was “crazy fun and threw money around like water’” and Lockheed Martin until they moved to King of Prussia. Then she became a medical biller at Misericordia Hospital for most of her adult Career. Narcissa had many adventures in her life like living at the YWCA with Cuban refugees fleeing from Fidel Castro, to living with her brother Milton at Fort Hood TX. We all know my mother was unique and didn’t experience life like most of us do. She said life happened and she followed wherever it went.
Narcissa is survived by her son Robert W. Lewis, Jr, his wife Meredith Stingel, their two daughters Reagan and Marin Lewis, her sister Karen Clarke, sister-in-law Marian Lewis, and loving daughter Elizabeth A. Lewis.
There are no services per the request of our belated mother.
