Naomi (Fleck) Phalen

Naomi (Fleck) Phalen, 82, of Lawn, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.  She was born Friday, October 9, 1931 in Three Springs to the late Dallas and Leora (Wagner) Fleck.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald G. Phalen.

She retired as a House Parent for the Milton S. Hershey School after 28 years of loyal service.  She enjoyed keeping her hands busy baking and crocheting.  Naomi was a caring and nurturing woman who deeply loved her family and those around her.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan D. Kylor and husband David of Lawn, and Donna I. Stevey and husband Brian of Lebanon; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 siblings, Lewis, Dale, Lee, Vaughn, and Virginia Fleck, Nancy McMahon, and Wanda Lane.  She was predeceased by 4 siblings, Robert and Donnie Fleck, and Betty Marzano, and Darla Jane Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at noon at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.  Friends and family are invited for viewing on Monday, October 6th from 5-7 PM and on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of the service.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
